With the 2nd overall pick the Houston Texans select Bryce Young, QB, Alabama Demeco Ryans, an Alabama almuni, gets his QB from his alma mater. Young's ability to extend plays, keep his eyes downfield and create positive plays under pressure outweigh his size concerns. The Texans get their new franchise QB.
***Trade*** The Atlanta Falcons send #8 and a '24 first round pick to the Arizona Cardinals for pick #3. The Atlanta Falcons select Anthony Richardson, QB, Florida. We've met with him at the combine, we've let go of Mariotta and our best option right now is...Desmond Ridder. Nah. The Falcons probably aren't gonna be good, but I'm determined to be fun at least. AR15 + Drake London + Kyle Pitts is certainly a path towards fun.
*TRADE* The Jets are trading the 42nd overall pick and a 2024 3rd (that can become a 2nd if the Jets make the AFC Championship Game) to the Green Bay Packers for QB Aaron Rodgers.
The Indianapolis Colts select Will Anderson, EDGE, Alabama I don’t think they actually do this, but as acting agent for the Colts, I’m happy to get best player available, wait until next year for something better than QB4 in an ok QB draft, and probably get Ballard fired in the process
@CarpetElf 74th overall is Cleveland's 42nd overall is New York's but that's been traded to Green Bay now (Elijah Moore trade update)
