I didn’t even know he was eligible lol. I just figured Matt knew something I didn’t and likes him more than me.

JL Skinner was a real suggestion, though for the Rams, if still are deciding on a pick.

They gotta draft depth when CJGJ and his agent misread the safety market again next year

We’re stacked but idk how good Walker will be coming off his injury so I wanted to get a little more coverage there, and open up CJ to play slot corner at times too

Obviously, it's a different team and DC, but I wonder just how often or if CJGJ wants to play slot corner anymore. The first two times Avonte Maddox missed time last year, CJGJ continued to play safety while the Eagles played Josiah Scott, who is verifiably not good, in the slot. It wasn't until January when the Eagles actually played CJGJ in the slot more regularly until Maddox was healthy. Perhaps that has something to do with what they saw in Reed Blankenship at safety while he was filling in for CJGJ because they preferred CJGJ in the slot with Reed at safety instead of Scott in the slot and CJGJ at safety when Maddox was out for a few games in January, but I definitely get the sense that CJGJ wants to be playing safety because he wants to be paid like a safety, which was the whole reason the Eagles got him from the Saints in the first place.

His versatility is nice in a pinch, but I think it's worth keeping in mind after the Eagles chose to keep him at safety going into five games that their slot corner missed due to injury.
