Randall is correct. Geographically Pittsburgh is known for the rivers and being mountainous or if you wanna call it hilly so be it but its the same thing in this context.

 

And anyway I’ve been there, it is very mountainous, there are people in Pittsburgh suburbs that have to drive across 2,000+ foot mountains to get into the city

 

Everything I am googling is saying Pittsburgh has no mountains or hills lmao I love @Randall Mentzos he keeps it fresh.

hot take: sometimes cities are built in valleys between mountains because that just flat out makes sense and when a website says there’s no mountains in the city limits, that doesn’t actually represent the fact that you do have to handle mountains to live there

elevation itself doesn’t matter as much as change in elevation. Mountainous terrain is rapid changes in elevation. A flat plateau isn’t “mountains”
