I really like all of the last four Menzingers records (five if you count From Exile), but After the Party is a tier above the others imo

 

OTIP - HE incredible stuff and they’re also an incredibly great live band, however, After the Party is in a tier above all

 

The pre-OTIP albums are what are being slept on, they're a lot of fun

 

Don’t really care for The Menzingers anymore and also have a weird connection to them now that has probably influenced why I don’t care for them anymore

 

ATP was my least favorite record of theirs for a while for some reason, I just don't think I gave it much of a chance when it came out, but it's probably #2 for me. And as much as I love the songs, I'm not sure if I can put Hello Exile #1 because it sounds like it was recorded in a bathroom

All music is good or bad depending on how you feel about it

 

Hello Exile is #1 and the recording is charming and works for the album and not against it IMO
