Well it can legitimately be both. Traumatic experiences can be normalized into survival mechanisms that can quite literally induce the adult brain to develop anxiety or adult ADHD or PTSD etc

Having ADHD/autism as a child, and society around me not really understanding it, has really shaped the anxieties that I have as a result

But yeah, while I’ve never been prescribed weed as a medication, I do find that sativa slows down my thoughts and emotional reactions just enough that it makes me observe the world with less judgment and more openness, and makes me a lot less emotionally reactive / compulsive and more in touch with my surroundings.
