I can see the Bills coming down to earth a bit but it’s silly to pretend like they’re not the clear cut favorite in the division.

My best guess is that this guy’s model is using way too much sample, so it’s penalizing recently bad teams like the Jags and Jets for bad seasons 2 years ago

Bills with 9 is a bad prediction but an ok enough model outcome (a little on the low side), considering that models like that average a lot of simulations and typically wouldn’t come back with wide ranges of values

I was in here yesterday suggesting that the Bills could possibly only win nine games lol

I mean, their defense is only getting older and they don’t have much pass rush depth outside of Von Miller. Their offense looks almost exactly the same as it did last year except they replaced Devin Singletary with Damien Harris and now have a rookie TE. Stefon Diggs is such a massive part of the offense because no other WR is worth mentioning, which puts the offense in trouble if he misses any extended period of time.

Add in the fact that their division is one of the most difficult in the league and the AFC, as a whole, is very competitive and it’s not at all outlandish that the Bills win nine games.

 

The Bills OVERALL have the third best roster in the division to me. They are just so good because Josh Allen is a fuckin alien. But the rest of their roster is not great.

 

The offense is Josh Allen and Stefon Diggs, which is really all it’s been since 2020, except with no proven behind Diggs for the second year in a row. It was such a problem last year that the Bills decided to say “Hey, let’s just run it back”

I normally want the jets to do poorly bc their fanbase is so delusionally insufferable every september but the amount of people that are so convinced for whatever reason with the undeniably talented roster they already have before adding a guy who won mvp 2 years ago are gonna just suck makes me want them to win 13 games.
