Josh Jacobs is an interesting one too because, on top of being a running back, he went from being a Najee Harris-esque fine but unremarkable bellcow type to a top 5 RB in the league last year and idk if it’s a breakout or a fluke

 

What lol. I'm literally explaining the post you seemed to misread. I'm not saying they shouldn't pay Jacobs, just that it affects the Raiders differently than the Giants because one is a playoff team with no weapons and the other is a bottom five roster with a top five receiver

...no he isn't. The question was which team is hurt worse. Giants are trying to compete, Raiders need to reset. Therefore losing more games doesn't actually hurt the Raiders the same as it does the Giants.

you’re not wrong but that’s a contract dispute in itself because if I’m Jacobs’ camp and he played literally any other position, I’m using that statline to reset the RB market and telling the Raiders to shove it with their modest/good offer
