My cat is insane and a menace 24/7. He woke me up this morning at 4 am because he decided to knock everything off of my night stand.

 

Actually we are sleeping in the cats bed

 

Do you all wake up thirsty in the middle of the night? Or is it like a security blanket thing?

 

It’s just nice to have the option to chug half my bottle if I want to when I wake up

 

Yes I very rarely ever use it but I like having a bottle of water just in case

I’ve had a cat sleep on my bed (or specifically on my pillow) since prob like 2006.

Does my current cat every now and again have an accident and get a nugget stuck in his floof and then come back into the bed? Yes. Do I care? Yes. Do I still want him on my bed? Yes.

 

I wake up to pee every night, sometimes twice a night. Been that way for well over a decade now. I do keep a water bottle within reach at all times as well, I'm lost without it tbh

 

Our cat purs so fucking loud it drives me crazy at night. Like sleeping next to a motorcycle. Our dog tries to sleep sideways in between us which is also irritating. Also have to have water on the nightstand. Only serial killers don't do that.

 

Yeah I have gotten my cat a bed and she ignored the shit out of it because I am more comfortable

 

Our cat has two beds and two towers and at night chooses to sleep in none of them

 

Yup. Our cat alternates between the chair that is now hers, the couch, our bed, and a random spot at 8am that's just out of the way enough that we can't find her

I had sour candy last night before bed and I woke up in the middle of the night with my throat feeling like razor blades, so yes, water is necessary
