I’m okay with being biased toward artists you like, I think Radiohead could take a shit and it’d still have 4 good tracks… but like some of that shit is out of control

 

I want an unfinished basement so that I can put up a second set of walls with soundproofing and air space in between,

I need that much sound isolation to really do music how I wanna do it. Right now my practice space is great for that, but I feel like I’d actually record more and not just practice if it was in my house

Comes from that an anecdote from that new podcast series from The Athletic called The Playcallers - all of those guys (Shanny, McVay, McDaniel, LaFleur) said they were called the piss boys because their job was “getting pissed on” which apparently meant doing whatever the older coaches wanted whenever they wanted in addition to their actual job. One of them mentioned having to go clean the air ducts at a tight end coach’s house
