I technically got it, but they were so ill-equipped that i wound up just working throughout it. My boss tried to get me onto a zoom call 9 minutes before Milo was born lol

 

the good thing about leave working in big corporate companies is that they take care of you on that stuff, the bad thing about it is everything else, just HR rigamarole nightmares

 

It's not our fault we had a miscarriage

 

i had to get a visitors parking pass bc i couldn’t get through my access gate since my badge was deactivated. i then also had to get a visitors entrance sticker to get through security. since my team is in an enhanced security area i also had to get help there. all that to get to my desk where my login doesn’t work because they’re often late transferring parental leave employees from inactive to active status.

i expected a bunch of sifting through emails before getting back to actual work but i can’t even turn my computer on lol
