that album was great at the time and I listened all the time, but I will say it doesn’t hold up for me now. Their other albums never connected in real time the same way, either.

Coheed was a band I always thought I should be into more. But just never got there.

 

I really enjoyed the new Coheed album, even though it’d probably been a decade or so since I listened to something of theirs in full and had it click before that

 

I might stay inside if it’s too hot.

I am DEFINITELY staying inside if it’s soaking wet out.

 

Haha. Watching football isn’t a lay on the couch thing for me.

I mean, it is at the end of a long Sunday or Monday when it’s a primetime game I don’t care about, that’s a great time to just have the game on for background but really just fall asleep early

but Sunday day games or games I care about tend to keep me engaged. I also am usually posting or playing guitar during downtime haha

 

I lay on the couch while being engaged. Built different.

The only Coheed I know is "In Keeping Secrets...3", which is both not the 3rd album of a sequence, or for that matter, even the 3rd album they ever made....so, to be that far up your own ass concept album wise, it was pretty awesome that it got popular and was actually listenable as an album. Most bands, when they finally did a "concept album", its how they signaled they were about to break up

 

"Yeah, its our 3rd studio album, its gonna just have IV on the cover, and we're gonna call it Volume One:"

Like, whoever got a studio to give them, I presume six-figures, on an advance for that; make them the President already.
