see he’s even worse than me. I like a good 72-74 and if it’s oppressively hot 70 is fine

Y'all are insane the AC being below 70 is not "cold" have you ever been in cold weather before

The AC being on 70 is not 70 degree air blowing though. It’s like 48-50 degree air blowing until the whole house temp is 70. 70 and a nice breeze is amazing weather outside. But the AC, If I’m under the vent - especially in a small apartment where you can’t really not be under the vent - and I’m wearing short sleeves (because it’s summer) it’s cold!

AC is currently at 67 and I'm thriving. Idk what my wife has it on back home. Probably 50 because she's an insane person

I just think it’s unnecessary lol and not worth the sky high energy bill. There’s a big difference in the “feels like” between 70 degrees outside and having the AC set to 70 degrees

Only time I like the AC on full blast is for the first 10 minutes after I did a sweaty activity outside in the heat. After that I’m good

We have a giant ceiling fan above our bed we don’t need to make the AC and lower!!

You just said it’s less than 67 outside. The AC isn’t even on. That’s different lol

50 degrees isn't "cold" tho. If you sleep in over 70 degree ac you're a demon. No way is it comfortable. Keep that shit at 68 at least and a fan right next to the bed.

I’m also not oblivious I think the makeup of your house and AC unit also dictates what you can get away with when setting the temperature. We have sky high ceilings in our living area with two ceiling fans that circulate all the air very well to the upstairs. We also had to replace our AC last year and we got our ducts sealed at the same time so it’s now super efficient

50 degrees is cold if you’re wearing short sleeves and shorts and being sedentary.

Its not cold if you’re actively moving or wearing jeans and/or a long sleeve but i definitely don’t want to sit still in my house with 50 degree air blowing on me

I sleep in 70-72 and a fan on me and that feels great. Then when the blankets come off and I’ve showered etc I’ll tip it up a couple degrees.

Long sleeves and pants don't come out till it's at least 45 I LOVE being in the cold. Just being sedentary in the heat is enough to make me need to take a fucking ice bath

When I worked at Lowe’s I always wore shorts, even when it was in the 20s, because I was only outside for the amount of time it took me to get from my car to the building at 5 AM and back at 2 PM
