Fred had Jimmy Smith most of his prime. He didn’t have to be the “most valuable” player.

So he got less goal line opportunities. He was also way better at big plays. The TD stat for RBs, to me is like… fuckin Thomas Jones had a ton of TDs in his career, doesn’t mean he was elite
