Dating is the worst

 

I’m superstitious about saying anything positive about a potential date before it happens now

way too many times it’s felt like “okay, this chemistry felt real, let me tell my friends” and then it got jinxed or something lol

 

Hard not to feel kinda humiliated when she apologized and then asked if I would be okay with her texting me in the future when she’s ready to see if I’m still single/interested.

 

I mean, at least it sounds like it has more to do with where her head is at than anything to do with you? That's a win, no? But also, that sucks and I am sorry and as an act of friendship, I present to you...

 

What's everybody doing today?

 

It has everything to do with where her head is at, but, man, I would be lying if I said I was not exhausted and am way too depressed for this shit

 

Which I recognize also says something about me and my head space, which is why I think I’m going to make some calls about seeing a therapist again because the last month or so is the worst I’ve felt since losing my grandmother a year ago.

Hell, I’m still unpacking all the trauma I went through last year. I don’t think I’m ever going to get over hydroplaning on the highway, totaling my car, and thinking I was for sure going to die and then finding out within the same month that my grandmother was going to die.

 

Man, that sounds like a great idea. I'd probably be a basketcase if i wasnt seeing my therapist weekly. It's been so helpful for me.

Yeah working on Monday and having off Tuesday is dumb. But ill be working at home.

Today I'll want to clean and then not do it and feel bad about it later.
