I’m rooting for the Texans next season, but man does that suck. Wish he was outta the league instead.

I also have no idea if Mixon is even that great either. Chase Brown looked better in what I casually saw last year, admittedly not watching much of the bengals once burrow went down.

Mixon is very mid anymore, and he is approaching 2,000 career touches.

I just don't get paying him $9m/year, but yea

 

I was hesitant about the Texans throwing a bag of money at Saquon Barkley but if the alternative is a Joe Mixon extension absolutely throw that bag at Saquon, c'mon

 

On the field the metrics show he's still a top 8-10ish back, but I wish they would have gone another route

T: Cam Robinson, Anton Harrison (Walker Little) - with Cam unsuspended and Harrison no longer a rookie
G: Ezra Cleveland, Brandon Scherff (Blake Hance) - Cleveland isn't jumping in mid-season and has a summer to get dug in
C: Mitch Morse (Luke Fortner) - its not a long term solution, but signing Morse was a big right-now upgrade.

WR: Brandon Aiyuk, Christian Kirk, Gabe Davis (Devin Duvernay, Parker Washington)
TE: Evan Engram (Brenton Strange, Luke Farrell)

*switch to a 4-3 defense with a press-man / Cover 3 heavy shell*

*very not satisfied with our depth here, wonder if we can still afford to add FA rusher depth
