It's not like awful, but doesn't succeed where it wants to. It has some cool moments and some weird-af moments and then just overall is kind of meh.

While there’s a lull —

my favorite signings to date:
- Saquon Barkley: contender using FA to get an elite talent at a manageable enough price is the right way to do FA
- a lot of the re-signings: NE keeping Onwenu and H.Henry, IND keeping Grover, LAR keeping Dotson, JAX keeping Cleveland; all on that sweet spot 3 year contract at reasonable APVs seems like the best deals of the offseason so far

least favorite:
- Kirk Cousins: there’s two outcomes here — 1) Cousins has a Stafford-like impact on the Falcons roster and he elevates this team to a contender; 2) they spent $100M guaranteed to still be mid and stuck in QB purgatory for another 3+ years while they wind their ways out of this beeg contract for an old now that they’ve fully ridded themselves of the end of career Matt Ryan QB contract implications
- Josh Jacobs: I hate everything about this one; the player, the term, the fact that it kicked Aaron Jones (who might be better on his own?) to the curb in an unceremonious way
