You're probably right and the NFL is to blame for not banning the guy in the first place. I just have a hard time with the Texans coming out of the the whole ordeal with no real punishment.

Oh yeah I totally agree which is why I brought up the fact that the Texans deserve hate for likely knowing and covering it up

The whole situation destroyed so much of my love for football

 

The punishment was having a sexual predator as a QB and having multiple seasons wrecked because of it (purely coming from football)

When I said dunk on them I meant today, I dont really feel like digging back up the Deshaun era though, fuck him

Yeah the Texans definitely knew and covered it up. They quickly settled a bunch of lawsuits that the media loves to forget about but there were multiple stories of using their facilities and the team having knowledge of Watson’s behavior. It’s on the nfl more than anyone, the Texans should have been investigated and punished severely and Watson should be banned.
But I’ll never get over how extremely gross the Browns were for courting him and paying him that contract in the middle of all those lawsuits AND criminal complaints. Enough to make me hate that team until the front office and coach are gone.
