Fishing once in awhile is fun but I’ll just go with somebody else, I don’t need to own the bait and tackle box and the multiple rods and bobbers haha. Maybe if I was rich and owned a boat I’d do it more.

I’m also just content to… sit by the water and think to myself or have a quiet conversation with somebody, without using fishing as a stand in for that haha. But hey if you got two rods then sure I’ll grab one and fish

 

Nah if I had that kinda money it would definitely be a big hobby and I’d use it enough to justify

wouldn’t care about making it a smart investment, i would simply use my boat a lot when the weather is good, and literally go find random islands, and take it downtown when I want to go downtown and stuff like that

Having “that kind of money” means having a dock at my own house though. Dealing with a marina if you’re not actually living on a houseboat at the marina sucks, and having to tow the boat back to your house and park it in your yard afterward, def makes it less fun. You also are forced to buy a truck that can handle that much weight in more than just short spurts.

Ideally you can just spray it down when you’re done and have a little covered housing shack to park it under when the weather gets bad.
