I’ve spent a decent bit of time in Nashville (lived there for a summer in college, sister went to school up there and lived there for a couple years) so I’ve had it quite a few times and enjoy it!

My best hot chicken experiences are like when I went to Prince’s in some random run down strip mall in north Nashville and I immediately broke into a sweat after my first bite of their *medium* and they balanced tasty but also wildly spicy and I wouldn’t eat that again at that spice at any regularity but still talk about that piece of chicken 10+ years later

Haddie’s is just a corporate version of that, and even more so since rapid expansion. Has that buttoned up 2010s fast casual vibe down to the faux retro neon signs, their hottest level chicken hits “yeah that was kind of spicy”, you leave and thought “that was a good meal, I’d get that again” but not really “that was an experience!”

My PDQ here is awesome, Canes would be my top option though. Popeyes is too expensive and every time I go there the chicken strips are so damn thin it isn’t worth the almost $20. My hometown Zaxbys was very good, but I ordered some from one in Savannah the other night for the first time in a couple of years and the chicken was rubbery as hell. Didn’t even finish it all.

Culvers is damn good though! My go-to fast food burger place for sure.

Had Panda Express for the first time the other night and that shit was terrible
