I would say that too if my team couldnt win super bowls.

 

I think I've said it before but my best friend has told me about how great he felt when he finally got his daughter potty trained, and I love hanging out with his kids, they're fun and smart (I think, I don't really visit a lot of children) and it's a blast

but for a lifetime? not for me

 

I love my niece and nephew more than anything, but god damn is it nice to go home after trying to keep up with them all day.

 

I honestly feel like the lifetime part is the better part than like the earlier stages when they're cute/learning/etc because then they're like little people who you can share interests with and shit

But I get it

 

people always say the “i love my niece/nephew” thing, myself included before holly was born … it is really truly not at all the same thing
