Idk, if the Steelers can go 9-8 with what they’ve been doing at QB, maybe Russ is just good enough to move the needle for them & could have a redemption arc there

don’t have to like the guy to acknowledge he once could really play, that he’s still good enough to start whereas Pickett / Trubisky / Rudolph aren’t even close, and that maybe Denver was a bad fit

 

Pittsburgh is like the one team in the NFL that Wilson could actually IMPROVE lol. And the fact that his contract numbers literally don’t matter because Denver’s paying him, lines up with the Steelers MO of being ridiculously stubborn and choosing shrewd moves, over win-now moves like signing Cousins to a very large deal

 

I really would not feel optimistic about what Russ can do in the year 2024
