    Nope. Supporter

I certainly enjoy finding new bands and don't really have much issue getting into them, I just don't have a lot of time currently to dedicate to finding new shit. Hopefully that will change later this year once I'm finally done with school. Feel like I've probably missed out on a lot the past year

Yeah I like a lot of music and I have close friends who aren’t in bands so their relationship to it is finding new stuff, I just take recs from them

    Mulva? Supporter

Im always looking for new bands. I dont want to be like my dad and listen to the same four bands over and over.

Taking her to see if she’s chipped. If she’s not, one of Kelsey’s coworkers want to adopt her.

I personally think we’re in a great era for chorus fm style music because a lot of the bigger bands doing it now are legit better than most the bands doing it back in the 2000s. And this applies to the poppy/dramatic shit, and some of the more PUNK punk heavier shit. I actually think that music style is more alive right now in terms of recent, touring bands than plain old alternative rock which is actually where most of my favorite 90s / 00s bands shined imo

the emo revival / post hardcore revival / etc is worth it to me cause it’s not just nostalgia, bands have excellent well rounded modern takes on these genres

    The rivalry is back on

My 2024 music listening goal is finding more net new artists to me (vs just listening to the new music from bands I know I like) and it’s p hard to find those a lot of the time

sometimes I just pick a couple venues in town, and put a song or two from every artist playing that week that seems like I might be open to it, (like no crazy warpy DJ stuff and no bro-rock, but bands as well as hip hop artists & singers that seem up my alley)

can usually find at least one current thing worth listening to more of

    there is one way out

This isn’t news. The owner of the team and head coach have both gone on the record to say this.

I don’t find nearly as many new bands as I used to but I’m still trying. There’s so much good young hardcore bands now that I’m discovering

And then softer side obviously Pool Kids has been a big discovery for me. Love them a lot

    wanna go for a ryyyde

every couple months or so ill just set aside almost a whole day to surf around for some new tunage. i still listen to some of the same bands i did when i was 16 but not many. the shit i listen to the most nowadays is generally stuff i discovered in the last few years at the most. otherwise things just get too stale

If any of y’all digs any kind of heavy punk or post hardcore or hardcore listen to Mannequin Pussy

I already liked them but after seeing them live I’d regularly reference them as a favorite now
