I don’t know the show well enough to argue it in granular detail, so you’re safe

all I can say, generally, is that @spiffa0 post about laughs per minute is half true. They certainly force a lot of jokes and punchlines per minute but so few of them are actually laugh worthy. And even if they were I just am not a fan of an entire script that lives punchline to punchline, it starts getting too far away from realistic conversations and quotes at that point. Situational / set up / improvised comedy coming out of a more dry script / plot is usually better to me
