I’ll release some full band music eventually this year and very politely suggest to all my friends in here that they check it out lol. Hopefully at least a few of you dig it and feel YOUNG AGAIN

Yeah this is me.

Two excellent albums, two good ones to casually throw on but not pay too much attention to, at least one more that’s fun on rare occasions

 

if anything i listen to more new to me music than i did in my 20s bc my job lets me listen during the day more than school did

Audiotree’s usually pretty good. If you don’t like a bands Audiotree there’s no point in trying to talk yourself into their albums

 

Audiotree is the most accurate realistic depiction of, how that artist wants the song to sound, to the fullest extent of their realistic talent

 

mewithoutYou is pretty outside my normal
Musical taste, but they are definitely a top 10 all time band for me. Love them so much.

Great lyrics, great post hardcore shouting, great rhythm section with creative tribal beats at times, great dueling atmospheric guitars that more so blend two moody soundscapes and effects together rather than just playing basic chords

what’s not to love

Lot of the reasons I enjoy post hardcore and indie rock as genres

Post-hardcore & heavy punk shouting > screamo / hardcore screaming in 95% of situations imo

 

Occasionally I like screams but it’s only specific kinds. Generally I prefer either a Title Fight rasp or a Baroness growl to an Underoath whine-scream or a CTTS chaotic scream

 

I like Mecole Hardman leaking that the Jets will be trying to utilize Breece Hall

 

Sorry but after yesterday reading about how people don’t like Andrew McMahon, I can’t get on board with having MWY catalog ranking higher than his.

Totally possible that its literally a Rivers or Cromartie specific policy...my money would be on Cromartie being the kind of dude who just drops kids at the daycare like 2mins before practice starts with no heads up

 

Or perhaps Audiotree is just another platform for artists to support their most recent album
