It's perfectly fine to just say you like a type of player and that we don't have anyone that fulfills that role. That's perfectly fine.

 

Randall, I’m getting the sense that your idea of a “WR1” is someone like Justin Jefferson, Ja’Marr Chase, Tyreek Hill, AJ Brown, CeeDee Lamb…and all I’m saying is every team in the league would love to have one of the absolute best WRs in the game right now

Yeah I was thinking about the Cardinals. I like Brown, but they have little else. Chargers I didn’t consider, but they definitely could after moving on from Mike Williams

I was considering the Jets and Saints too. Wilson and Olave are both better but not having Lazard and the Ghost of MT out there might make up for it. Same logic I used with the Falcons, who actually called me to see if I could start at WR2 earlier in the year and I ignored the call.
