We absolutely need it more than WR and T. As for the rest, we still need it, I don't care if we need one a little more or not.

Our CBs are literally just Tyson and a 31 year old Darious Williams, neither of whom have plaved in this kind of scheme. Meanwhile, as Doug said, our OL played one total game together. I wouldnt leave it as is but from that perspective I understand.

    Corner is a problem.

Fellas. I think I’m gonna pass on land of bad. Sorry to disappoint everyone. Gonna take some time to reflect and try and be a better person and a better poster.

    ( ^ Taylor)

Fred Taylor did more with less carries and was a feared big play threat who could take the ball the distance if defenses weren’t disciplined. He had moves and no one could catch him in the open field. At age 30-31 in the 2007 season alone, he had five runs of 70+ yards. Taylor still holds the record for the longest run ever in the playoffs (90 yards).

Jackson was a power runner who got force fed the ball and had very little big play threat - for him to also have Fred’s (admittedly low) level of touchdowns? Despite being THE goal line guy for STL and never having to share that with another borderline elite RB (MJD) or with other elite offensive weapons (Bulger / Holt were getting old and washed up by Jackson’s prime)? Despite not missing nearly as much time due to injury as Fred did?

Taylor was a clearly, head and shoulders, better running back than mf Steven Jackson lol

Fred Taylor had a total of 257 additional rushing yards with 230 less attempts, big whoop. Steven Jackson had more TDS, 1,300 receiving yards and receiving TDs.

Neither should be in the hall. Both were just really good players and that's pretty 1:1 if you ask me. Jackson even had more pro bowl and all-pro accolades to boot.

I mean, fair, but also it's not like if I didn't respond he wasn't going to post 75 paragraphs about Fred Taylor or Jimmy Smith on his own anyway lol.
