That’s the craziest thing about Randy Moss, that if he actually tried every year instead of only when he was on a 12+ win team, he could’ve gotten a lot closer to Jerry Rice and had an argument for GOAT

Absolutely nobody thought Moss was done. The year before that year on the Raiders he still had what, 1000 yards and 8 touchdowns with some backup level QB throwing him the ball and no other talent on the offense?

 

I distinctly remember him having insane performances and destroying double coverage as a Raider before he stopped trying

 

Eh his last year in Minny and 2 in Oakland were very un-Randy-Mostt seasons. Even the good one, he had 60 catches for 1,005 yards.

 

He was also traveling the country begging Tom Brady to come get him so he was very not committed to the Raiders.

 

LeGarrette Blount was a good one for the Eagles too. I didn’t think much of the move at the time of the signing, but that dude was on a fuckin mission every run

 

60 catches for 1005 yards is a crazy average though. Still clearly a deep threat. Was averaging almost 20 yards a catch lol. I cannot stress enough how bad the 2007/2008 raiders were, this is the team that tanked for JaMarcus Russell lmao. They might not have won a game without Moss
