I will never forget people losing their minds that the Eagles got Nakobe Dean in the third round as if he was a steal lol

 

If you think you’re getting money back then yes

a guy can be a steal based on his college resume and still not work out in the NFL. Lot of variables beyond, does he know ball / can he play

You know it could also be a complete failure by the coaching staff to use him to his strengths

It is concerning he’s still barely played at all but it might not be for the reason you think. Why did the Eagles draft a guy they aren’t gonna use?

 

So this was pretty good, but @Sean Murphy had the first and better version of the sneed joke so sorry, he wins.

 

My biggest concern is his injury history, which is why he barely played last season, which was reportedly one of the biggest concerns teams had with him during the draft process

 

Like I refuse to believe Walker Little is bad enough to keep Cam until I’ve actually seen enough of Little getting continuity and getting to play the same position several weeks in a row to make a judgment call

 

TJ Edwards was playing pretty good ball in 2022 and so was Kyzir White! No need to remove either of them from the field for a rookie when they were en-route to the super bowl

My expectation is that they should spend the highest draft capital addressing the biggest problems to give us the best chance of hitting on a guy that could improve that position group

it’s weird to have to explain this, this is the whole point of the draft. Whether or not teams are successful doing the above, comes after the discussion of what the team should do. Let’s not jump the gun on what you’re saying until we see who they actually draft. Right now we’re in the “these are the Jags problems so *ideally* this is what they should *try* to fix in the draft” stage and I don’t agree with how Baalke is approaching these problems at all
