yeah that’s a terrible plan. Our blocking was awful last year, we have a chance to save like $40 million dollars on overpaid veterans who aren’t playing that much better than a good young draft prospect. Do we need a first round talent at nickel corner more than we need a first round talent at WR, T, G, C, or DT? I strongly feel that we dont.

Thinking that CB is a talent issue and OL is a coaching issue is so backwards.

The CBs were good for 1.5 of the last 2 years and my assessment of why they collapsed is that they were stretched too thin while Caldwell tried to overcompensate for other weaknesses on defense

the OL has been at BEST mediocre or slightly above average and at worst Trevor’s running for his life. I have always had an issue with our OL talent. That’s been a lingering problem.
