I am once again tougher than Matt about the cold

this was the first year of my life that 23 degrees “isn’t even that cold”

 

i think certain places just click differently with certain people. it sounds hyperbolic but i understand 100% the feeling you have, and as someone who cannot make it happen for themselves, i encourage you to make it happen for your so i can live vicariously through you

 

Like, I just got a band for my music 5 months ago. And they’re really good. Like, to the point I don’t just think I could easily replace them if I moved to NYC. That’s really the biggest factor here. We are right now making the kind of meticulously crafted music I’d be proud of forever and would feel like we can impress absolutely anybody that came to see us, including major names in the alternative rock side of the music industry. We are also right now becoming an important local band in Baltimore/DC and i could easily see us getting press once we drop some singles and announce a tour.

If that didn’t happen I’d be lining my ducks up right now to move to NYC in April, including paying spiffa’s friend a fair amount of his rent to crash there for my first two weeks of work lol

 

Saw this come across my feed and started cracking up at the idea of Schrager being like “Oh wow, you know what, I actually hadn’t considered NE sticking with the QB they already have and taking Harrison at 3, thank you Brian, wow”

 

Pour one out for Randall's partner who I desperately hope doesn't have a chorus.fm account

 

Hell yeah gonna be a season of overthrowing Harrison.

 

Thanks Brian, but Ideally someone who can count to 4 is going to be making the decision, not you you sodden bread of a QB.

I’d have to start completely over though, without a band, when more than half my songs are meant to be played with a band. I can’t underestimate how lucky I got with this incredible bassist and drummer.

 

I hate Matt's determination to make "trade down for bo nix" happen, but I'll take that 10/10 over run it back with Mac/Zappe.

If i could convince them to move to NYC with me then I’d be sold. But we haven’t been a band long enough for me to ask for that big of a leap. If we become HUGE in this area and it becomes the obvious next step for us as a band. Then I’ll bring it up.
