I loved working at mcds so fun. And being 15-18 when all of the money I made was mine and no bills was awesome

I got legos today

 

so we tend to go through waves of stuff where something will pop up in the news and dominate the job for like six months. january 6th, russia/ukraine, etc etc.

the biggest one outside of that type of thing that was just a one off was the prince of a middle eastern country that was actually doing legitimate stuff here but has sooooo many human rights allegations that it’s insane. so we kicked him out of the bank just on bad PR alone even though he was technically by the book

Lol I wish I could even fabricate a story that could make my jobs sound remotely cool

 

When I started at this job last year there was another Jordan there who was like 6’8”. I’m 6’1”. So he was “Tall Jordan” and I was “Short Jordan”. I’ve never been called short a day in my life.

He as also one of the oddest people I’ve ever managed. I’m glad he quit.

Worst "shift" I ever did:

Friday 6am - Sunday 3pm with four hour breaks for sleep and half an hour for transit.

that saturday i also was wearing a comically too small shirt because i fell carrying food and the only shirts they had in the store were small.

 

I've had 23 jobs since I turned 18, ranging from 3.5 years to 3.5 hours lmao

 

Not sure a basketball team that lost to a play-in team has bragging rights right now

 

Don’t be misleading. You could be loaded and still eat chips for lunch

 

Having a peloton doesn’t seem like a reward for working hard lol
