Five Guys (which originates from the Maryland side of DC) is probably the most notable chain who makes their fries that way. Where they’re not like hard the way that pre-frozen fast food fries can be, but they’re also not uncrispy potato wedges either

my favorite hot dog joint in Baltimore area also does their fries like this

I have several friends who are into jam bands and it’s the absolute worst thing in the world. Even just hearing them talk about it is annoying.

jam bands are fun live, stigma’s overblown. Though some of the deadhead fanatics do definitely get annoying about it, but there’s also a lot of just regular people who see live concerts as an escape

 

i see binge eating pizza and playing video games as an escape

 

ehh needs more work

 

I definitely see concerts as an escape these days (mainly kpop concerts cuz they start and end early and there's seating and the music is fun do not judge me for loving it or I will shit on things you like for no reason)

Video games help me unwind after a long day but concerts help with a long year if that makes sense
