Yeah the defense was really the reason he won both superbowls, those weren’t his best post season efforts. Still blows my mind that “noodle arm, about to retire” Broncos Peyton won the Super Bowl but “still holds the record for most passing yards and TDs in a season” Broncos Peyton from two years earlier got STOMPED in that SB. I genuinely thought ain’t nobody was stopping Peyton that year.

 

2x Champ and SB MVP aside, Eli's entire legacy is the Tyree throw/catch though.
