My first thought was fantasy football and I wondered why you were drafting so early

Seems like I’m destined for your same trajectory after this

900 square feet for nearly $400k I simply no longer wish to live.

  6. Why does everyone have such a boner for Aiyuk now? Every Panthers fan on my timeline is clamoring for him. Willing to give up 33 and pay him. I don’t get it.

He’s good. Don’t get me wrong. But the overwhelming praise came out of nowhere to me lol

Also, us trading our only good pick this year AND overpaying in an extension for a WR is the dumbest thing we could possibly do.

My wife and I are hoping to sell our condo and buy in the Fall … but like, ugh. It’s looking like southern NH is what we’ll have to do but even those towns are fairly pricey now too

We know it’s gonna be a brutal process because rates keep dropping ever so slightly and with that house prices will go up and the competition will get stiffer

He’s 25 and coming off consecutive seasons where’s he’s gotten better/put up better numbers. I don’t think it makes sense for Carolina at all but I’d give up pick 32 for him (KC won’t do that)

Because he’s a great WR that I’ve read and saw praise of since his rookie season

  10. I know he’s great. But at least what I’m seeing from Panthers fans, the hype is too much. They’re acting like he’s a can’t miss opportunity and we’re dumb if we don’t do it. I just don’t remember hearing THAT level of praise until the last few days.

Yeah there’s definitely been praise of him the past year or two but not like “he’s a top 5 WR” praise. Idk, the thought of a possible trade just has everyone excited I guess

  12. What’s the track record in recent years of making a big trade or big signing for a WR?

I’d say AJ was worth it. But overall, does it usually work out?

Diggs, Hill, AJ Brown all worked out, QBs got better with those #1 receivers on the team

Hollywood Brown, eh, Adams, eh, but those teams were disasters

I’d say Tyreek Hill, AJB, Diggs, Adams, even Amari Cooper all worked out relatively well so it’s not always a bust, but do feel your point for Carolina

  15. Yeah. The part about the teams being disasters is why I’m worried.

Yeah like Adams wasn’t bad in the case of him being bad, he was still good, just the team sucks

I feel like a team in desperate need for a WR should trade a high second or even a first for Aiyuk. Dude rules

Cleveland only gave up a 5th & 6th for Cooper, crazy. Not that he’s a top 10 receiver or anything but man

Of course, he’s under contract still for a team that should still be competing for a super bowl so I don’t see the Niners trading him

Probably but I can see the downside too. Carolina has a lot of holes on offense

  21. I think Mike Evans is the one that’s most likely to work out for us. He’s familiar with Canales. Has said nice things. Has a ring so might be fine taking a check and playing the mentor role. Give him a big contract that ends when Bryce is due an extension.

Was Adam Thielen not a mentor?

KC has invested a lot in the WR room the past few years and it mostly hasn’t worked but

  24. We have a lot of holes and lack assets. So giving up our best pick + big space to fill just one of those needs seems like a bad idea.
