i’m something of a heat seeker so i do tend to season heavily when it’s me and my wife but i cut it back for when my midwestern or her DC white bread family members visit lol

 

Kirkland diapers are actually the best diapers. We've tried Huggies and Pampers too and are team Kirkland through and through.

 

i prefer huggies diapers but we often get kirkland bc the bulk amounts yeah. and kirkland wipes are the best.

 

Milo has this new thing where if I'm in the office with the door closed he FREAKS the fuck out and just sits at the door crying. But if I have the door open he goes off and plays and couldn't care less.

 

I love Costco for their drum barrel of chocolate syrup. I hate Costco because of 50 million people all there at once.

that’s weird cause DC is known for international food. Usually even the white people there are food cultured even if it’s in a patronizing / elitist way

 

maybe in actual DC lol not in the suburbs

 

some of the suburbs! Where are they from? The one credit I will give to northern Virginia is that DC’s food scene definitely extends into that area

There's an organization here in Pittsburgh (and some other cities) that coordinates with grocers and restaurants to pick up leftover or expiring food and redistribute it. On Friday my agency got 8 large trashbags full of bread from Trader Joes that we then passed around our neighborhood. We also get 2 cases of beef trimmings, bags/boxes of baked goods from Giant Eagle, 2 trays of fresh curry and rice, and 5 boxes of pastries every week from them. Not counting the random one-off deliveries we get throughout the week.

Yeah! When I worked at Mcdonald's, and we'd change from breakfast and lunch, our managers wouldn't let us eat the left over breakfast food. We just had to count it then trash it.

 

My dogs do this too. Interesting.
