I don’t even need to read it to know that they called it because Gannon didn’t prepare his defense accordingly to deal with players being used in motion. Reid found something he could exploit and Gannon didn’t have a counter because why would he?

don’t act like you’d be shocked if Mahomes got at least 5 rings and came close to Brady’s legacy. I pretty much am at the point where I might bet on it

I can't state strongly enough that 5 is not close. 5 is an entire Peyton Manning away lmao

Would you take Mahomes or Brady in their prime?

I don’t know cause we’re still entering Mahomes’ prime lol. We have still not seen what he’s capable of yet. He’s in the “early Brady” phase.

Winning two superbowls this soon in his career without having the elite defense Brady had when he won his first 3 is a very solid accomplishment imo.

I know that Brady already had 3 rings at this point but football is a team sport. Brady actually stopped winning SBs for 10 years when that defense declined, even though he had better offenses and was a better QB.

and let’s not lie to ourselves about the numbers. Mahomes is 27. Brady was 30 by the time he was putting up Patrick Mahomes numbers. The gap is too wide to just say “it’s a different era / Reid’s an offensive coach”. Brady was always an elite COMPETITOR, but it took him time to develop into an elite passer. Mahomes already is both.
