Ruggs was a stud, just a shit person.

The worst 1st rounder is Jalen Reagor by an astounding margin. After that it's either, if you want to be semantical, Jonathan Mingo who is still 50% better than Reagor, or, strictly sticking to labeled 1st round, Rashod Batema, which surprised me.

Thankfully there isn't a lot of advanced data from pre-2015 draft so I won't have to remember that

    The rivalry is back on

not good as in statistical performance after the fact or not good as in didn’t profile well as a prospect?

This is all prospect stuff. After the fact I mean, yeah Reagor is still pretty bad but this is every drafted WR + every undrafted one with more than six games played.

An old fashioned is not what I would recommend an inexperienced drinker at all. Definitely gotta start small and acquire that taste first before we’re going into straight-up cocktails that are mostly liquor

that’s like an IPA or a bitter stout being your first beer

Oh god that was a Doug pick?

bro… we actually may have to fire superbowl winning coach Doug Pederson at some point if he insists on making talent evaluation and personnel decisions lol. He is so miserably bad at both & holds himself back with his off field meta-strategy decisions, despite what he’s capable of on the sideline, game-strategy wise. X’s and O’s man… just stick to the X’s and O’s lol

Bateman really hurts me. I loved his college tape, he really was an exceptional route runner and played angry / stole the ball from people at Minnesota… I remember trying to scout Tyler Johnson, who got drafted a year before Bateman, and accidentally scouting Bateman during his sophomore year cause he was too repeatedly impressive snap after snap to not take notice.

But two season long injuries in one rookie contract can set a very talented player off track. Part of being a good NFL player is coming back with confidence from injury, and being mentally tough enough to get back into a groove and be the same player after a grueling rehab… maybe Bateman doesn’t have that. Sigh.

It certainly doesn't make me feel any better than JJ is basically at the exact opposite end of this sheet and just as far ahead of his peers lol. This is my first position I'm doing so I don't want to get ahead of myself but it genuinely wouldn't surprise if me if it ends up being the biggest fuck up of this era.

Yeah I was a big Bateman fan too. I was also a big Tyler Johnson fan and he was much worse lol

@JoshIsMediocre have you had a margarita? And if not, get one from a place that uses real fruit juice rather than sour mix. That’s a pretty good first drink to try that tastes like tequila but in a way that is actually balanced and not harsh.

Dinner was meh last night. The food was okay but over priced and the service was really bad and I always give the benefit of doubt to service workers but it was like they forgot about us several times. But we saw Adam Pally afterwards and he was hilarious so it was a solid night overall.

Reagor ended up 365th out of 367. Behind only a late 6th round pick who totaled 500 yards in college and a prospect who will almost certainly go undrafted because he's 5'8, 160, and like fucking 30, which would then make Reagor 365th out of 366 lol.

reagor sucks but i disagree he is a worse prospect than corey coleman who was drafted six spots higher and has arguably been more useless, even if he had a better college career

I'm judging them as prospects. This was a draft thing that spiraled way outta control. Basically, I wanted to contextualize all the data I had on 2024 prospects by combining them all and finding areas of concern and things that seem to matter more than others.

N’keal Harry where does/did he rank as a prospect. Cause like …. I still hate everything about that draft at the WR position

well, right. i feel like coleman's whole thing even before the draft was "he's so fast! he ran track!!" like yeah he is so fast he should have gone to the olympics, he's 5'11 and had stone hands lol

i realize i sound like i have a hit out against him but it's crazy to me he was the first WR taken in that class lol

Currently 172nd. But I'm still tinkering with how things are weighted and I'm pretty certain he's gonna plummet.

Nah I gotcha, I hated the pick too lol. He's one of the player types I'm still working out the kinks with. Kevin White is the same way. They were both ALMOST horrible at everything.
