Sneed is easily one of the most bustable free agents and I'll pass very hard on him.

I have a friend that we all call little James because he plays drums and is younger than the other James we all know who plays drums

 

yeah, we’re not exactly the same take / influenced by the same era of post-hardcore but it’d work well together with Terrain’s heavier stuff on a live show. I love the contrast between melodic guitar / indie rock drumming and really harsh shouting. Sorta reminds me of Title Fight or Alexisonfire

& one of my dark horse takes about music / touring is that brand new bands are some of the best bands to play with. Even if they don’t have established social media etc yet.

At our age, they’re either:
- a band of musicians that all their friends have been rooting for for years, and they FINALLY found a band. Even if they don’t have “fans” per se they WILL have the strong support of their entire social circle for their first couple gigs

or

-a band of musicians that has all already been in several other bands and already knows how to do the damn thing and connect with their pre-existing fanbase who is very excited about them making new music

the former band will usually hit a slump when they realize they have to do a lot more to promote shows than just tell all their friends about them. Those friends will eventually get used to the band existing and stop prioritizing every show, and that’s when you actually do have to start learning how to generate “fans”. But if you catch that band early on, they’ll bring 75+ people out easily.
