Yeah I try not to let it affect me going to games or concerts or events, etc but im always mindful it happens far too often in todays shitty world

Same. Only been to one championship parade and only went because my buddy's work overlooked the Marathon finish line so I had a first row spot without the crowds

 

Happy the Niners let Wilks go. I think he's a fine DC, but the Niners defense underperformed this season and that was largely because of very poor game plans to start games that got exposed over and over until halftime adjustments. He just wasn't a good fit and I don't think letting him go is making him a scapegoat, the defense was fine in the Super Bowl even if not good in the playoffs as a whole.

Steve Wilks is extremely replaceable imo

 

Wilks definitely wasn't the problem but in the end he was a problem so I get it

Just a tough look to continuously get the benefit of the doubt and then not extend it to your coach who seemingly had success. At least enough to get you to the Super Bowl.

Wilks is a looooot easier to move on from than Shanahan though
