yeah tbh I don’t think there’s a good comparable for Fields. Wentz to IND might be closest (3 + next year conditional 1), but even then, Wentz was on an ass contract and whined his way out of Philly, while Fields is reasonably cheap for a year and controlled for 2 if you pick up the option and is only leaving because someone else sucked enough to give his team #1 overall

I think he falls somewhere between that level and a Stafford/Wilson, etc, mega-trade but the idea of talking about Fields trades and not dropping the word “first rounder” in compensation talks even conditionally seems wild to me

(with that said, I’m all the way out, but I’d imagine someone who is paid to make bad decisions will do it)
