We do have fun debates in person sometimes where we credit each other. We’re so much better at that IRL, but lately in here that’s been the new dynamic for the past, idk, one month and change.

I mean obviously we can’t claim we’ve “fully stopped” until we can get through a whole actual football season without ugly arguments hahaha but there’s been a noticeable change on both sides lately

Eh, I’m getting better at realizing his snark isn’t personal and things that I perceive in a cutting tone were actually probably said in a jovial tone / were actually him semi-fucking with you, or being slightly hyperbolic for effect.

It used to annoy me that his standards for everything football related are so harsh, but I realize now his opinions are based in “winning football is about balls and effort and most these teams’ owners and GMs straight up don’t have enough balls or give enough effort” and I can respect that.

 

It still has the highest odds of being the next thing though

My guess is that Reddick and the Eagles are apart on extension talks, and the Eagles let him talk to other teams to see if anyone will give him more money. A similar story came out last year about Slay, and he ended up re-signing with the Eagles
