The Falcons are picking in the top 10 for the third straight year. The Steelers were a playoff team last year. Unless the plan literally is just do nothing to improve then it makes no sense. Why not trade the farm for a great QB prospect then?

 

I don’t even dislike fields but he’s not a great QB prospect.

 

He’s objectively just not a prospect anymore. He’s a rehabilitation project and I trust Zac Robinson more than Arthur Smith.

 

He's not a prospect either. I mean why aren't people calling for the Steelers to move up and draft somebody?

 

it’s not just something the Steelers would ever do even if they probably should. I don’t pay attention to draft stuff but I’ve seen people go back and forth on every QB prospect as well.

I would be more supportive of them moving up for a QB they like than I would them trading a 3rd for Fields

 

forgot about the bush trade, theoretically the could and should but I’m not holding my breath. I feel like the think bringing in Smith will magically fix the offense.

 

(not that it stops people from calling for stupid things because sections of Colts Twitter are constantly calling for IND to move up for MHJ) but I don’t think PIT could make it up to a QB worth trading up for even if they dangled 3 1s
