yeah I don’t even know why I went there again for an inspection. I had an issue with my skid plate last year and this local guy fixed it for $40 so hopefully his estimate is much cheaper.

Yup. Unless its for a warranty issue, you should always go to an independent mechanic. Dealership places suck and as you know, charge ridiculous prices.

Mahomes is easily no worse than 3 right now. He is basically second half Brady in the first half of his career. I would bet against 7 but I would not bet against that and the h2h playoff games being the only thing left for Brady when all is said and done.

Those h2h wins may end up being akin to the missed PAT last night where they happened relatively early into Mahomes career, but you knooooow they're gonna loom large at some point.

I really need to think about the consequences when I post.

  10. Dividing Brady’s career into 3 parts and have 3 HOF careers is the most impressive thing about Brady imo. I doubt Mahomes plays long enough to be able to say the same thing. So for me, if Mahomes catches up in rings and accolades, I think the longevity matters. And the argument for Mahomes in this scenario will be that he did it all in a shorter amount of time. Which would be insane. But Brady’s longevity wasn’t just longevity. It was more so evolving as the game evolved. Changing his game as the game changed and staying on top in the process.

    I don’t know. It’ll be a fun debate. I’m here for it.

  12. And since he’s getting shit on relentlessly today, I’m going to state what is still the obvious, Shanny still a top 5, if not top 3, HC in the game.

Funny enough, he might be in his Andy Reid in PHI phase right now...to the NFC Championship game or more in 4 of the last 5 seasons, and doing it with what is probably worse/less consistent QB play than Reid got from McNabb (until this year with Purdy).

Looking dominant in a division that just turned over head coaches and whose only obvious competitive team is an aging time bomb.

  18. One of the most impressive things with Shanahan for me is the consistency in which he loses coordinators and assistants yet there not really being much of a drop-off. We see how that can really affect other teams (it should!) but they seem more immune to the staffing changes than others. Part of that is roster talent. But a lot of if it is what Shanahan has built.

McVay, Harbaugh, and Reid are the only coaches on the same level as Shanahan when it comes to putting together a coaching staff.

  20. And the part that’s even cooler….a good chunk of those assistants that leave are also good at their next job. They aren’t losing deadweight.

Was just gonna say, that describes Reid to a T as well; dude seems to just chug along no matter what coordinators he loses

Yeah, was originally gonna say 3 teams that seem on the downslope/bottoming out, but, the Seahawks hire seems like its gonna keep them competitive when a bad hire might have dropped them down to the Cardinals level.

Rams are gonna be interesting to see, they sorta have like 1-2 more years before it collapses it seems.

We think Macdonald is a good hire. A lot of people thought that about Robert Saleh and that changed in a hurry.

If MM is actually good, Seattle will be a problem in the NFC. They are too talented offensively to not be competitive.

Geno could always turn back into a pumpkin though.
