Right, I recognize that he’s a great offensive mind and I do think he’s one of the best head coaches in the league, but those Alex Smith teams weren’t exactly lighting the league on fire (although that 2017 offense was legit good)

 

Really hope the Bills can get one at some point

 

He took two different teams to the SB and is the 4th winningest coach in history. I would say he's more than decent

 

But he didn't get over the hump and win a SB until Mahomes is my argument. Wasn't trying to say he was bad or anything.

 

We need to stop with "they're only great because they have X" because having Drew Brees or Aaron Rodgers can only elevate a mediocre head coach so much. Clearly Andy Reid is a step above his contemporaries. (Not necessarily directed at Shak)

We cannot forget what Reid and the Chiefs have done with a backup QB in recent years

its honestly the only way they should be thinking right now. These next 2-3 years are their window while guys like Tyreek (ugh), Ramsey, and Chubb are still productive players, so they desperately need the QB cap hit to be low.
