If 2019 didn’t break the 49ers, I don’t think this one will either

paying Brock Purdy 50 mil is what’ll do that

It’ll probably be closer to $60m than $50m by the time he’s up

We can't skip right to Purdy contract discourse. We haven't even done the Tua discourse yet!

    The rivalry is back on

idk who is on their way down in the AFC who isn’t already down (LAC, DEN, etc)

KC is inevitable, CIN/BUF/BAL are perennial contenders as long as they have healthy QBs, MIA is solid but maybe them?, HOU/IND are trending up, NE might be next if they nail their baby rebuild

I think the Niners are better off paying Purdy than the Dolphins are Tua

The flipside is we never REALLY know who is on their way down. Cliffs are high. If we asked last year we would've said the Jags are trending up too

So for the "don't pay Tua" people, what should Miami do?

I don't want to hear about Cousins. And drafting one? With the win now core in place? Not sure that makes sense...

year to year league, Demeco even said it at his EOY presser

Glad I have a coach that understands that

Like I'm not sure whether Tua is worth opening up the pocketbook for, but I'm not sure how you avoid it sadly.

Brock, I feel is less worthy of a huge contract. I think he's talented, but flawed

And the average annual salary thing is meaningless to me..that's just for bragging rights.

Hurts makes $51 mill/year technically, but his cap hits are not close to that.
