Well Cox technically isn’t under contract with the team and might retire. Who knows if he’s even back with the Eagles

 

I think he'll sign a one week contract just to throw hands with Deebo

 

TBH he feels like a perfect candidate for "hey, go home, rest your body and stay in shape, we'll sign you week 6"

 

It is possible that he’s at that stage in his career that he doesn’t want to do much of the offseason programs and just wants to sign in the summer to get ready for week one.
