Going into hour 2 of a 2 hour call and we have yet to discuss anything the call was set up for, my supervisor is maybe the dumbest person I’ve ever worked with. Kinda glad I’m getting transferred at this point.

 

It's 2024, and this video conference call I'm on already had 3 people muted when they were trying to talk. 13 minutes in.

 

"can everybody see my screen"

 

Now the presenter on the call can't figure out how to share her screen. 16 minutes in.

 

No, in fact, we can't.

“Oh sorry I was on mute ha ha ha”

 

Them: "Can you guys hear the audio of the video I'm playing?"

Me: "No. Stop sharing your screen and click Include Audio before sharing"

Them: "I did that. Now I can't find the button." 15 minutes pass "okay I'll just post the video link the chat for you to watch"

 

My boss just said she doesn’t understand what 25 MBs means because she is not a computer person and does not have time to learn all of that.

 

Feels random. Let's hope this works out then.
