New ESPN, Fox, Warner Bros. streaming venture won't solve much — at least not yet

How's YouTube TV been vs live? Is it still a minute or so behind? I heard they fixed it a bit but that its still not perfect

 

It's about 30 seconds behind the real time, so I believe that means it's 23 seconds behind the live broadcast. I really don't notice much of a delay as long as I only check the score apps during commercials

This is purely anecdotal, but couple months ago I was at my friend's house watching the Eagles game on his TV through his Xfinity box. I had my iPad playing Redzone through Youtube TV on the coffee table. We had to close the iPad during the fourth quarter because it was regularly showing plays before the "live" broadcast was

 

Turning off broadcast delay on YouTube by helps a lot

the only Super Bowl party hosted by people here we know will be at the house of a bunch of Chiefs fans, spanning multiple generations. The wife's brother died last year, so they lost a brother/son in the family.

My sister was like 'you can't even make any jokes about not rooting for the Chiefs.' Since I would almost assuredly be the only one rooting for the 49ers in attendance, I do not think we will be attending

 

I was planning a Super Bowl party but had to cancel due to COVID in the house

Maybe we can do a Super Bowl rerun party
