I’ve watched this performance like 5 times since last night

 

72 Dolphins, 85 Bears, 80s 49ers, early 90s Cowboys were four of the best teams ever though. Raiders were also very good late 70s to early 80s & Washington stole a couple superbowls too. February is a weird parameter to put on it

I’m reading up on the Philly Special and it turns out it was none other than Press Taylor who came across the play when the Bears had run it a year before.

They ran it in practice since leading up to the NFC title game that year, chose not to run it against the Vikings. Foles approached Doug in the super bowl about running the play and Doug agreed.

Wish I still had the video I took of the play live on broadcast and the reaction I and a bunch of others in the bar had after it worked.

 

So the genius behind the Eagles super bowl was Press all along
