I HATED cigarettes growing up because all my friends smoked and I thought it was gross. Smoked a few when I was drunk in college, then went a few years where I'd smoke a few a week from friends, mainly when drinking. Now they gross me out again.

I had a similar relationship with alcohol. Took me years to admit to myself “yeah I may enjoy the flavor and the early buzz, but I hate being drunk”

 

I don’t enjoy the flavor of beer and I don’t like being drunk.

I’ve found like….3-4 beers I like. Will never understand the IPA thing. They’re gross.

Catawba is gone. Not sure if it’s for good. But definitely gone now.

I generally don’t like to feel out of control when I’m on any kind of drug. Alcohol, psychedelics, all of it. You might notice slight changes in my mood and personality and maybe me blurting out things that sober me wouldn’t say (although I also embarrass myself plenty sober lol) but you’re never gonna see me clearly impaired. Only Matt has, and Matt is one of like 4 people I actually will get drunk with just for fun lol cause we’ve lived together so a it’s different dynamic, we literally can just play madden and listen to indie rock all night and have a blast
